Reservations & Waitlist

  • You may reserve online up to a week in advance. In order to reserve online, a positive account balance is required (note, classes can be purchased online). If you try to sign up for a class and are put on the waitlist, you will be notified via email if you are added to the class.
  • As soon as a spot opens up in class, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically bumped into class and an email and text notification will be sent out. If you are bumped into class within 1 hour of class, in addition to receiving an email notification, we will also attempt to call you. Please confirm via email or by calling us (949.725.8825) to let us know whether or not you will be able to attend; if you are unsure if you are off the waitlist, please give us a call.
  • Reminder: Being bumped off the waitlist into class means you are IN CLASS and therefore responsible for confirming of cancelling your spot. If you get into class from the waitlist, do not show up for class, and have not canceled your reservation within our cancellation policy timelines, your spot may be given away and you will be charged for class. If you get into class from the waitlist and are already scheduled for another class, you will need to cancel your reservation for your other class online or by calling us. if you do not cancel, you will be charged for class.
  • Cancellations & No-shows

    • One hour cancellation policy for all weekday classes and 12 hour cancellation policy for all weekend classes.
    • Cancellations may be made through your online account, by calling 949.725.8825, or emailing the studio.
    • If you miss class and do not cancel your reservation within the required time frames, series package holders will lose one class and monthly unlimited package holders will be charged $15 for weekday classes and $24 for weekend classes.

    Late Arrival to Class

    • There is no admittance for first-timers once class has commenced.
    • Returning students may enter an ongoing class (up to, but not after, 10 minutes into class) and must lift their knees 40 times before joining class.
    • If you are late, and someone is waiting to get into class, your spot may be given away.

    Class Attire

  • Please wear exercise pants that cover the knees and a tank top or t-shirt.
  • Socks are required (no toe-less socks, please).
  • Studio Etiquette

    • Please use our lockers to store all of your things, including your shoes and cell phones. No shoes or cell phones are allowed in the studio room.
    • Chewing gum must be discarded before entering class.
    • Please do not bring glass or uncapped drinks into the exercise studio, and only bring water into the studio room.

    Pregnant Clients

  • New and continuing pregnant students must provide the front desk with a note from their doctor specifically giving them permission to take Bar Method classes while pregnant.
  • In addition, first-time students who are pregnant must begin taking classes within the first 12 weeks of their pregnancy, or have a minimum of 1 month of prior Bar Method experience, or have taken at least five Bar Method Pregnancy DVD workouts.
  • Many pregnant students take full classes throughout their pregnancy, but pregnant students may opt to take the first half of the class (which focuses on the arms and legs) for half price.
  • Age Restrictions

  • Students must be at least 14 years of age to take class.
  • A parent or guardian must sign our waiver for minors wishing to participate in class.
  • Illness & Injuries

  • Please inform our studio of any illness or injury that may compromise your ability to take class so we can offer any necessary modifications.
  • In certain circumstances, you may be asked for a doctor’s note to continue taking classes.
